St. Vincent and the Grenadines recorded a second COVID-19 death, today, Monday, January 18, 2021.
In a release, the National Emergency Management Organization – NEMO said the individual was 80 years of age and was admitted to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital on January 15, with complications of a chronic noncommunicable disease.
The elderly man was tested positive for Covid-19 during the routine screening conducted on all admissions.
The patient was being managed on the COVID-19 Isolation Ward of the hospital.
